Installing 1.7 miles of sidewalks. Adding 1 mile of shared-use paths. Improving multiple intersections. Enhancing parking. Increasing accessibility downtown in alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Installing a new water main under the roadway. The Gateway to Glacier Safety and Mobility Improvement Project will utilize the $10 million RAISE grant funds awarded to the City of Columbia Falls in 2022. This project aims to enhance infrastructure in Columbia Falls by focusing on safety, sustainability, equity, and economic efficiency.
